Just wanted to pass on some further notes for you as we go into the next week.\

Students are working on the novel study for the book How to Eat Fried Worms. Ms. Warden wanted me to pass on some youtube videos of the read-aloud for the book for students to listen to at at home. Especially if they’ve been absent or need an oral review of chapters.  The link is Bright Learners: How to Eat Fried Worms, Chapters 5-7   They can access all the chapters.

Also, students are working on a large Social Studies project called EXPLORER GIANT PUZZLE.  It will be due March 15, 2023.

This week there will be no school on Friday for our PD day. The week after next week will be a busy week. Class photos are on Feb. 21 and Math Mayhem is on Feb. 22. Here is some info on Math Mayhem:

Feb 22 from 6:30-8 please bring parent(s) (grades 6 and under need to bring parents- we are there to play but not supervise) and a great, “ready to play” attitude. Open for all kids K-9 to come and participate.

If you could also take some time ask your child about supplies that need replacing–big erasers (needed in art and math), rulers, markers, glue sticks, pencil crayons etc., as the students will need them.
