For our music of the week, we have a couple of artists we are listening to. Our music this week has a space theme to it. The first music set is from the classical masterpiece, The Planets by Gustav Holst. He wrote a piece to match each of the planets in our Solar system. The second piece of music comes from the well known composition Also Sprach Zarathustra by Richard Strauss. You may not know it by that name but you will certainly recognize the piece upon hearing it. It was used the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. This rendition is slightly different though with an awesome groove to it that the kids got right into!
