The air was crisp, the sun was out; it was the perfect day to go out and pick up garbage! Thankfully the weather held and we were able to enjoy a wonderfully sunny afternoon walking down Chilliwack Central Rd. All the way to Young St and back. It is a testament to the neighborhood that we did not find a whole lot of garbage lying around but we still managed to fill a couple of bags full. The only thing I was sad about was that I was not able to wear my authentic fishermen’s hat. If you want to see it, I still have it in the class. Not really pirate-y but what can you do?
