On Oct 15th there will be a “Map of Canada” quiz.  For the quiz you need to know the provinces, territories, and their capital cities, along with the capital of Canada.  The quiz will be a blank map exactly like the one that we filled out and coloured in class. (Parents – all students brought home a completed map of Canada in their planners with all of the information that they need on it for this test).  Spelling is important on the quiz.  Please do your absolute best to spell everything correctly.  As a side note to parents, we have been talking about the map of Canada since the first week of school so this is not new information for the students.  If you spend 10 minutes each day reviewing with your child, I am sure that they have success on this quiz.
