Well. It feels like it has been a long time since I have updated the blog. Things got quite hectic there for awhile. And while things are still busy, they are calming down a bit and I can start to re-focus on keeping the blog updated more regularly.

This will be our second last review list before returning to a couple of new spelling lists. As we approach the end of the year we may not have a spelling list every week. Here is the review list for this week:

On Wednesday, students in the elementary grades will be participating in Earth Day. For this event, the Grade 2 and 3’s will be taking on the clean-up of the road just outside our school. Starting at 1:00, students will be out helping to pick up garbage along the sides of the road. For this event, students will be able to wear their play clothes for the entire day. Also, if students have work gloves at home they can use, please allow your child to bring them in to use. We are also in need of volunteers to help the students along the road. If you are able to help out from about 1:00 on, please let me know as that will be very helpful in making sure students are safe. Thanks!
