This morning, I was speaking to the students about one of the highlights of my trip to France, which we had visited over spring break. Guedelon Castle is a site in France where they are building a full scale medieval castle from scratch using the same methods and tools used in the medieval days. No modern chainsaws, Home Depots, or anything. Only tools the medieval builders would have used. It was an amazing visit and site to witness. I have included a couple of videos for you to view to see how it works and what is happening even as you read this. They are still in the middle of building it right now.
